I looking for any information regarding John h. Post born in 1829 who was married first to Amelie Emerick and later to Margaret Longendyke and lived in Ulster county (1850, 1860 census). I am a descendent of his son Peter L. Post and am trying to trace this Post family line. I'm new to this, so any advice is welcome regarding geneology.
