We have communicated several times in the past about Henry Poss.

I have a copy of the will 1867 Will of Henry Poss in Taliaferro County. At the end of Item 2 he mentions "the children of my son Joseph Poss.

Joseph Nicholas Poss was my ancestor and he died in 1854. Prior to his death, his wife Lucretia has also died and upon Joseph's death the children went to live with Lucretia's parents, Allen and Temperence Gillespie.

I want to know if you have, or if you know of, other documents from the settlement of the estate of Henry Poss that might mention the names of Joseph's children. I have the names from the 1850 census prior to Joseph's death and again from the 1860 census with the Gillespies. It would be nice from a "genealogy proof" standpoint to have the children named at some point in Henry's estate.

On a totally different subject, I have always believed that Henry was the son of Henry Poss and Anna Catherine Oehler. However, I have seen a transcription of the supposed Bible of Henry and Anna Catherine and Henry is not named among the children. Do you know if the Bible transcription is in error, or if there is any other "proof" that Henry who married Sarah was the son of Henry and Anna Catherine.
