I have a little information on this Pike Co. Family. It appears the children of Joseph and Lucretia were orphaned before 1860 as they were living in the home of their grandparents: Allen and Tempy Gillespie in Pike Co. GA.


Here is what I have:

He was the son of POSS, Henry Thomas who was born 1777 in NC-.

Joseph Nicholas married: [1] GILLESPIE Lucretia; GA-Pike Co.; 1843 Sep 26 [2] CLEVELAND Elizabeth; GA-PIke Co.; 1853 Mar 3

Lucretia Clementine GILLESPIE was born 1822 in SC-Abbeville Dist., she died 1851 and was buried in GA?.
She was the daughter of GILLESPIE, Allen M. who was born 1795c in SC- and UNKNOWN, Temperance who was born 1796c .

POSS, Sarah A was born 1845c in GA-, died after 1860 census.
POSS, Mary J was born 1846c in GA-, died after 1860 census.
POSS, Narcissa was born 1848c in GA-, died after 1860 census.
POSS, Henry Allen was born 1850 Feb 28 in GA-Pike Co., died possibly after 1900 in GA-Madison Co. and possibly married: Eva?
