In the name of God Amen. I Henry Poss of the state and Couty aforesaid being of advanced age but of sound and disposing mind do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following viz___ to my wife Sarrah Poss all my Estate both real and personal (Except as hereinafter Execpter) during her Natural life and at her death to be disposed of as followsviz____ Item 2d. To my son William H. Poss, I will and bequeath one sixth part of the tract of land which I now live; Containing three Hundred and Twenty asrees more or less including lands of peter Lunceford Sen. David H. Greenberry Meadows; and my will is that he shall not be disturbed in the popession said portion of land during the lifetime of my wife and at my death or at the death of my wife if she shoul be the longest liver then he is to have one other sixth part of my tract of land adjoining the part mentioned above by his paying to the children of my son Joseph Pass three dollars per acree for the same:
Item 3d. I will and bequeath to my son George M. Poss one sixth part of my tract of land above mentioned including the settlement whereon he now lives adjoining lands of Daniel H, Meadows William Lunceford senior and part of my above mentioned tract of land and my will is that he shall not be disturbed in the possession of the same during the lifetime of my wife and at my death or the death of my wife if she should be the longest liver then he is to have one other sixth part of my tract of land adjoining the part mentioned above: by paying to petr Linceford Junior or his heirs three dollars per acree for the same.
Item 4th I will and bequeth to my sons John M Poss & Henry Poss each one sixth part of my tract of land it being the remainder after the above mentioned four sixths have been runoff; Item 5th my will is that in consideration of the care and attention which myself and wife both need in our old age that at my death or my wifes death all the stock including Horses Cattle, hogs and sheep; be Equally divided between my sons William H. Poss and George M. Poss and all my household and kitchen furniture be Equally divided among all my children; Item 6th my will is that a tract of land which I own Lying in originally in Irwin County drawn by John Gates of Irwin's distict if not disposed of by me during my life be sold and the proceeds be Equally divided between all my children Item 7th I constitute and appoint my sons Wm H Poss & George M Poss Executors of this my last will and testament, December 21st 1867
