Melva----Ruth Poss was my grandmother--she was married to Orva Earle Jones-- I believe she was from Arkansas---sh had two or three sisters---all eventually moved to Miami FL-probably the early 1930's. When I saw your name it rang a bell---I'm thinking we had a Melva, somewhere. My father-Orva Earle Jones Jr. does not have much memory from his childhhod due to auto accident he had later in life----there is no one else from his family for me to question and with a name like Jones.......well, I was curious if any of this sounds familiar to you ? My dad has two brothers and a sister---when Ruth (their mother) died---the kids were split up, in fact one boy Charles-was adopted by a family with the last name of Fountain-----that is another angle I am researching. The other two children were Jimmy and Shirley. Would apppreciate hearing from you.
