Sorry, I have to disagree about that book as I've read it closely. If you look again, no research into original documents was offered as proof of the author's claims of ancient French ancestry being true. There are absolutely NO references to original documents included. Saying something is true doesn't make it so, even if 500 people are saying it over and over and over again for almost a century. And using what someone claims is true as the basis for family history just doesn't count in genealogy either. What does count is research with verifiable results.

Those claims cannot be verified because one, the records claimed to exist don't exist, and two, the records that do surivive state fabrication and fraud. So how valid are your claims? Have you researched this yourself? Do you know first hand what is true and what isn't true about Posey family history? Unfortunately, I know very little of what is true. I know much more of what isn't true.

As I've said before on this forum, if it's true, please prove it. But everytime I ask for that proof, I'm met with silence.
If I'm wrong on that book, please share with us citations of the sources and the specic records used as the basis of their claims. I'm afraid that it can't be done, but I would be delighted to be proved wrong.
