I too am searching for a William Posey born about the same time in S.C., but he was married to a Cynthia ____?
They were given as parents of my g-g-grandmother on her death certificate. I know thee were 3 William Poseys in
SC in 1830, 2 in Edgefield Co. and 1 in Spartanburg. I am of the opinion that the one in Spartanburg had a son
also named Wm. who was never listed by name there. My William's wife Cynthia might have died young, but I can't
find any record of her to go with William. I will check my SC info for your William and Agnes. Would you have
any info on Wm. and Cynthia? Thanks, Margaret
