According to my geneology book, Carnot's parents, Elizabeth Screven & John Brookes Posey, settled in Mississippi Territory "on their tract, Follambray Forest" Sept 16, 1810. Where this is I have no idea; I have always thought it was in or around Woodville. Maybe they were still there when Carnot was born? He was their 4th child(1818); the 1st being born in 1811.
