Not sure if you still have the same e-mail address but wanted to give it a try. My mom is Mary Lizzie Posey Boggs, daughter of John Rufus Posey, son of Elijah Franklin Posey, son of William Posey and Kiziah Posey.
Siblings are John, Caroline, William H. and James, and they are listed in 1860 in Macon County, GA. In 1870 Kiziah Posey is listed as a widow.
William, I belive, is son of Abraham Posey who was in Barnwell SC 1810-20, Marion County, GA 130. His widow Rachel in in Muscogee County, GA 1850-60.
I am just now getting back to researching and would like to share info with you.
