IThis is supposedly documented iin Inventory Book 78:16 Charles Co. MD -- but I have to admit that I have not looked at this myself and can not vouch for the information.
~~~had to copy to remember, I have no documents of any, on his parents, Bennet Posey & Elizabeth Hobart. I do have :
Elise Greenup Jourdan, Family History: Colonial Families of Maryland, Early Families of Southern Maryland, Vol. 5, Posey, page 33, Francis Posey immigrated in 1640 (ABH.10, 42).
Most of what I have, came from there. But finding Benjamin Posey in Georgia, where his children were born, has been a stumbling block.
