"Francois Poschet (French) and the name was Anglicized to Posey in England. He had a brother named Martin Poschet and they were Huguenots (French Protestants), immigrating to England to escape French Catholic persecution."
The above is a quote from some early docs I came acress. If you are in England you might look in that direction. I understand there was several congregations of Haguenots in England and Ireland. Would be interested in finding the truth.
