I have run into a wall and am hoping you can help me with my line of Posey's. My ggg-grandfather was John Posey born in VA and was a farmer. He moved to IN when a young man and married in Rush Co to Ruth P. Whitaker also of VA. John & Ruth's children were William, John, James, Thomas, Cyrus (my gg-grandfather), George and Sarah. Cyrus was born on Dec 5th, 1849 in IN. I do not have the date of birth for John Posey but his death date was 1857. I would like to know who his parents were and his date of birth. I would appreciate any info you could help me with.
