Thanks for your response. I found my William C. POSEY b. 1802 in S.C. d. 1855 in Benton/Calhoun Co. Al. His parents were Nehemiah Posey, Jr. b. 1776 in Aiken, S.C. and mother was Elizabeth Hendle. William had the following siblings: Sarah Posey b. 1798, Mark Nehemiah Posey, b. 1804 and Martin Friday Posey b. 1807.

I had one other William b. 1848 in Blount County, Alabama. d. 1851. His mother,Phoebe E. Hazle Posey died the same year. She was only 25. This William was a twin to John Wesley Posey who was my great grandfathers. He lived to be 71 years old. He died Bowie Texas and is buried in Oak HIll Cementary in Wise County, Texas.
