Hi, I have an indirect interest in any Posey that might make a connection to Lumpkin County Georgia (Dahlonega, Ga)in the mid 1800's. I have been to France and did some follow up research on another family and it IS possible one might find the connection, if it is there - by going in the back door. Also you can NOT take all the information in Salt Lake City (LDS) as documentation either. The info there is only as correct as the person submitting it to the archives. I found many errors on another line of my family in their info and this is information that many of us have the documentation. Thanks
