Jame Paul Portzer was the son of John Portzer and Ida B Callaway. He was born January 31, 1865 in Pennsylvania, although we are not certain where, but probably close to St. Marys. They had seven children.

There's a peculiarity on this line as John Portzer was probably the son of John Mulvickle and Caroline Distler. Caroline later married Andrew Portzer. John, Emma and Lizzie (the sisters) were willed $1 in the will of Andrew Portzer. But we consider all Portzers on this line to be cousins......Caroline was my great grandmother anyways, so you would be cousins

Do you know James Portzer in Jasper? I visited him in 1997.

If you want more information on this line I would be more than willing to send more.
