I have been searching the Portwood line and stumbled across your name in the Find a Grave site. I find it very interesting to learn more about the Portwoods and your detailed information. James Madison Portwood, I believe is your GGG Grandfather. He was my GGGG Grandfather. Your GG Grandfather (CM) and my GGG Grandfather (Levi) were brothers. Levi's daughter was Lula(my GG Grandmother). Her son was Carl Madison Pearson. You can find a picture(s) of her on my family website: www.pearsonconnection.net
