Yes it is. C.M. Portwood is my Great Great Grandfather.

Charles Portwood as a young man started as a teacher. Afterward taught school, then engaged in a lumber business.
He was a manager of the Paris Grocer Co. He then served as the secretary of the chamber of commerce in greenville texas. He was a member of the Lions Club. Mr Portwood had a hand in helping secure the Federal Breeding Station with the late Fred E Horton. and made a special trip to Washington D.C. to talk to officals about the station.
