I show Beulah Portwood as b. Oct. 1865, Peerless, Hopkins Co., TX, d. Aug. 1943, Clinton, Custer Co., OK, m. 1880-1881, prob. in Hopkins Co., TX to McKinney Clabe Lindley (1860-1897). Beulah is daughter of William Harley Portwood I (1829-1865) and Elizabeth Arlene Lindley (Feb. 16, 1841-Dec. 13, 1908). William is son of Page Portwood III (Apr. 15, 1787-Oct. 17, 1876) and Lydia ___ (b. Oct. 3, 1793) [Page & Lydia are my ancestors]. Elizabeth is dau. of Eli Lindley (June 10, 1811-Apr. 10, 1867) and Sarah Crisp (Apr. 6, 1822-Oct. 30, 1898).

Beulah and McKinney had the following children:
1) Stella, b. Nov. 1881, (prob. Hopkins Co.), TX, m. or d. by 1910
2) Leslie, b. Feb. 1888, (prob. Hopkins Co.), TX, m. or d. by 1910
3) Bert Lee, b. Mar. 25, 1894. Sulphur Springs, Hopkins Co., TX, m. by 1917, Pearl L. ___ (b. c.1897, KS)
4) Mack K., b. Apr. 11, 1897, Peerless, Hopkins Co., TX, m. c.1917, Blanch Lyon (b. c.1897, IL)
7) ____, b. and d. betw. 1880 and 1900, prob. in Hopkins Co., TX

Beulah's middle name was "Lee" according to Mack's WWI Draft Registration Card.

Beaulah appears in the following census records:
1870 Precinct 1, Wise Co., TX (as "Belah" w/mother & step-father D. Claiborne 'Clabe' Cates)
1880 E.D. 125, Wise Co., TX (as "Beulah Portwood" w/mother & step-father)
1900 Decatur, Wise Co., TX (as "Beulah Lindley", widow)
1910 Decatur, Wise Co., TX (as "Bulah Lindley", widow; the Ancestry.com index erroneously lists her as a male named "Ralph Lindley")
1930 Clinton, Custer Co., OK (as "Beulah Lindley", widow)

I haven't been able to locate her in 1920, though I would expect to find her still in Decatur as Mack listed her as living there in his WWI Draft Registration Card, which was dated June 5, 1918.
