Elizabeth DOZIER was born on July 27, 1793 in Madison County, Kentucky. She married Samuel PORTWOOD on May 6, 1819 in Madison County, Kentucky. Known Children of Samuel and Elizabeth are: Rebecca PORTWOOD Farrow, Julia Ann PORTWOOD Fulletone, Ennis PORTWOOD, Conwell PORTWOOD, Zachariah PORTWOOD, Leonard PORTWOOD, Squire PORTWOOD, and Mary PORTWOOD.
I also have a huge book of Dozier family genealogy that I’d love to share with you! I am trying to keep it as updated as possible and I want to make sure I have you and your family listed in it! So, please contact me!

Each year an annual DOZIER family Reunion for the descendants of Leonard Dozier (b. abt. 1643 - d. abt. 1695) and more specifically the descendants of James Ingo Dozier (b. abt. 1703 - d. abt. 1791) is held in Pawnee, Illinois in the fall.
This year (2004) the reunion will be held on Sunday, August 8 at 12:30 p.m. in Pawnee, Illinois. Please contact me if you would like to attend -we would love to have you!!
