I am trying to find information on Benjamin Portwood of Wilkes County, GA., his wife, and children. I need their names, to try and identify a connection to my family, the Portwoods of South Alabama. I beleive, he may be ancestor of mine, four or five generations back. The information that I have is:

Information that show residences and dates of Bejamin Portwood are: Currituck, NC (1800), Wilkes Co, GA (1824) and
1st and 2nd Ranges, Madison, AL (1830).
I need to know the relationship and supported dates between
Benjamin and Howard Portwood.
