Looking for further information on this family.
Parents: Manuel J Gomes & August Gomes- before 1886. I do not know anything else on this couple.
Children are:
Sabino Gomes, Augusta O Gomes, ( I believe Augusta, is my husbands grandmother. She would have married an Ornellas ) The reason I believe this connection is I was told that Msgr, Gomes was my father-in-laws cousin.

Antonio J. Gomes born November 11.1985, Maderia Island, Portugal. Antionio came to the States 1910, resided at 190 Middleboro, Ave, Taunton, Ma until his death in 1975.
Antonio’s wwII draft says he was born Estriaste de Camera de Leabos, Maderia.
Antionio married Maria N. Baptista also born on Maderia Island, Portugal. Born abt. 1896. And her father was Listed as Manuel.
They were the parents of Msgr. Anthony M. Gomes, Our Lady of Angels Church, Fall River Ma. He died August 1992.
Manuel Gomes died prior to 1992
& Juvenual Gomes of Methuen died prior to 1992.
I have several posting on the Ornellas forum, with the information that I have found over the years.
