Looking for information on living or deceased relatives of Da Rosa's (which changed their name to Rose).
Starts with Frances (Frank)Periea Da Rosa (Rose) born 1846 in Azore Is.Portugal married Clara Constancio
Prader born 1857 in Portugal.Unknowen when they came to America,Its believed that they first settled in
Castro Valley,Hayward area.Frank and Clara had 10 children unknowen if they were born in Castro Valley,
Hayward area or in Santa Clara County.
1-Mary Rose 1875-1958 married Joseph Cardoza 1860-1944(burried Holy Sepulchre Cemetery)
2-Clarra Rose 1876-1969 married Frank Cardoza 1866-1954(burried Calvary Catholic Cemetery)
3-Frank Rose 1880-1969 married Emma Quadro-1894-1975(burried Calvary Catholic Cemetery)
(Frank was first child to leave family,he bought a farm up on Mt.Hamilton).
4-Manuel Rose 1884-1962 married Nora ? 1889-1954(burried Calvery Catholic Cemetery)
(he was a member of Santa Clara County Sheriff Posse in 1948)
5-Tony (Anthony) Rose 1886-1965 first wife unknowen second wife Ida ?
6-Maude Rose 1888-1970 married Manuel Quadro 1885-1958(burried Mt Calvery Cemetery)
7-Carrie (Karie) Rose married John Costa
8-Joe (Joseph) Rose married Babe ?
9- Katie ) Katherine or Catherine) Rose married Joe Perry.
10-Phyllis Rose.
1958 other sur names in family are Oliver (Oliveria),Yeager,Shazz,Furtado,Periera,Chaves,Gonyales,a lot
of the family is buried in Calvary Catholic Cemetary 1655A Madden Avenue,San Jose,California
