Hi: I am hoping someone can help me in connecting my ggrandfather Jose Victorino dos Santos to Antonio Mathias Santos b: 1861. Jose was married to Maria Josepha Coracso Jesus (not quite sure of the last two names)Antonio was married to Maria Neto b: 5/31/1883. I know the children of these two couples were cousins,just not how they are connected.
The children I have for Jose Victorino dos Santos are: Manoel Victorino dos Santos married Isabel Bettencourt,Marianna dos Santos married Anselmo Bettencourt, Silveria Victorino Pacheco(my grandfather changed last name) married Maria Lemos, Jose Victorino Pacheco married widows of Silveria and Manoel, Antonio Victorino Pacheco married Mary Luiz, Joao victorino dos Santos, Isabel S. dos Santos married Manuel C.C. Lemos, Maria Pacheco dos Santos married Jose Soares. My grandfather Silveria and his brothers, Antonio, and Jose were the only ones to change their last name..Does anyone know why?
The children I have for Antonio Mathias Santos are:
Manuel A. Santos married Maria Ramalho, Joe R. Santos married Elsie Ramalho, Anthone M. Santos Jr. Never married,Charles Santos Divorced Adeline, lenoard E. Santos married Mildred, then Lorraine, Rose married Manuel Alameda, Lillian Santos married Dave Thompson, Ida Santos married Louis Goncalves, Isabel Santos died at age 16.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
