Antonio Goncalves daFonte
b. November 10, 1904
d. May 22, 1976
Had two brothers John and Joseph. When they came to the US one was given Goncalves and one daFonte as last names. Antonio was my grandfather and he got both names.
John and Joseph lived in Ossning, New York and Portugal.
Antonio lived in MA, DE and back to MA and was married to Hilda Lewis of Everett, MA. He arrived on a boat from Portugal via South America according to my Dad and was sick and the boat left before he was well. He got naturalized US citizenship.
I'm hoping to find some of the family in Portugal, if you can give me a hint it will be most appreciated.
