Need help please for information on a Manuel Victorino Sylvia born (unknown) on the island of Sao Jorge, Azores abt May 1848 or 1856. Manuel immigrated on the Bark (barque) Veronica abt 1880 to New Bedford, Massachusetts. No records available. He had 2 sister's named Marianna J. and Theresa, both born in the Azores who immigrated to Dartmouth, Massachusetts. No other known of siblings or parents names.

Manuel married Maria Ignacio Pascual Bettencourt abt 1875 there and they had a daughter named Maria born abt 1878 prior to their immigration. Anyone able to do an Azores birth or marriage lookup? Hoping to hear from more of my relatives in Azores and USA. Any help is greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
