Manuel Perry came to US 1850 married Frances ? (on several births of children- she is from Fayal) married abt 1872 can not find. Manuel naturalized; 3 sons born in Lawrence, Ma Manuel Perry b 1880, Frank Perry b 1885, Joseph Perry b 1882 family moved to Oakland Ca. per 1900 census- Father & children painters- I know Manuel Perry Sr died between 1900-1910, had 2 bros. Joseph Perry b Azores of Toledo, Ohio & John Perry b 1843 Pico, married to Maria Neves in Lawrence Ma then resided in No Andover, Ma. Maria Neves parents - Manoel Francisco da Neves b abt 1821 wife Isabel (Paulina?) came to US 1865 thru NY with kids- Marriana, Filomenia, Maria, Carlos (Charles), Julia; had another child Louisa in NY abt 1866 then moved to Lawrence Ma, according to obit of John Perry 1902- 2 sisters living in Azores, 1 bro in Oakland Ca. & 1 bro Toledo Ohio- There could be a Brazil connection- have pictures from Bahia Brazil- do not know anything about who they are. Also have pictures of people in Gloucester RI 1930-1940 one male in sailors uniform- no knowledge of who they are. Need help with Ca Perrys.
