Yes, I remember some years ago when I was doing Alexander research that we did communicate then. I haven't looked at this surname for quite a long time . . . and do thank you for letting me know about this book.

It would certainly seem to be the correct one but you know how those old genealogies were . . . with undocumented sources and way too many errors! But I will definitely check into it.

Based on the other surnames that I found my Alexanders very closely associated with I had thought that perhaps they were from Donegal. So - we shall see!

Don't you just love the digitized books online? Makes it possible to read things you would never know about otherwise!
