Checking out and trying to connect the following Porter two court records in Spencer Co. INDIANA:
Book D
Probate #393
27 May 1847
Elizabeth Porter and william W. Porter, executors of George Porter vs. Dade Connor and others. Non-resident defendants: Joseph Davis, John Foster and wife, Jane; William Neale and wife Mary A.; Richard G. Morton and wife Isabel R; Georgte D. Porter; Lawrence Porter; Robert W. Porter; Margaret Porter; Melville Porter and Erasmus L. Porter. (continued until next term).

Book D, Probate
#411, 26 Aug 1847
Elizabeth Porter and William W. Porter, executors of George Porter vs Dade Connor & others. Minor children and heirs of Thomas Porter, decsd: George D. Porter, Laurence Porter, Robert W. Porter, Lewis F. Porter, Ellen T. Porter. Thomas R. Hannah appointed admr ad litem (meaning apptd by the court). Guessing that Thomas Porter is son of George Porter.

Does anyone have more information to share on the Porters named above. I'm guessing that Dade Connor is the administrator and Elizabeth and William Porter are the executor, whose job is to see that George Porter's will is carried out. Have much Porter info in Spencer Co. Indiana and will gladly exchange.
