Still searching (35 yrs.) for info on Joseph C. Porter (1821-1903)and 2nd wife Sarah Haines (1847-1875). Joseph had a (Eureka?) hotel and was postmaster for a time in Neversink, Sullivan Co., NY. Abraham ((1832-1896)and Joseph's niece Harriet Porter Osterhout (1832-1919)raised Sarah's son Milo (1868-1940) who was younger than their own 3 children: Mary Isabel, Franklin Porter and Wm. A. Osterhout. Can anyone PLEASE help me? Milo was my grandfather. Thanks! Edith Haines Sampson
