My grandfather, Edward Lee PORRITT owned and operated Porritt Dairy until he sold it to his son William. I believe William sold it to United Dairies in the 1970s. My family does have a few of the old bottles (The pint size ones with the embossed labels.) I have been looking for one myself for several years as I am not one of the lucky persons to own one.

Edward Lee PORRITT is one of four sons (no daughters)of Lee Carlton PORRITT and Winifred BAILEY. Lee Carlton PORRITT is the only child of James E. PORRITT and Mary Elizabeth SHURTER. James E. PORRITT is one of four children (possibly more)of JAMES S. PORRITT and Louisa ?? Both James S. and Louisa are from England. This is as far as I have been able to go.

I have some dates, burial sites, etc. How do you connect?
