I live in Perth Australia and I am helping my mother Elizabeth Barry (nee Popp) to find out information about her father Henry Popp and his mother Catherine Seitz(e?) and father, Fredric Popp. My mother Elizabeth Popp was born in Merthyr Tydfil in 1929 and her father Henry Popp was born in Birkenhead Dec 17, 1897. There were two brothers, Bill and Andrew and two sisters, Caroline and Margaret. My mother has her sister still living in Merthyr Tydfil – Catherine Popp who was born in 1930 but she is unable to do much research for us.
Catherine and Frederic both came from Bavaria I believe and met up in Scotland.
Would love to hear from anyone with any information.
