Finding Popovich Family
Posted by: Kathryn J. Cahill Date: November 26, 2001 at 21:02:35

I am trying to find my mother's family. Her parents were John Popovich aka popoe and Anna Gotnohorski Popovich aka Popoe. John was born in 1881 and died in 1955. Anna was born in 1883 and died in 1938. Their marriage was a matched marriage. They moved to Wisconsin aprox. 1913, from Germany. They were Serbian, Hungarian, German and ?? They lived and farmed in the Turtle Lake, Wisconsin area and other towns in that area.
My mother was told that some of the family moved to South
America thinking it was the southern part of America.
John and Anna had five children. Nicki, Peter, Theresa, Annie, and Mary.
