Barberton is in Summit county. You will need this to get information. My grandfather was George Popovich and his family lived in Murray City Ohio. Some of his siblings moved to Barberton Ohio so I have done some research there. My grandfather's parents were Vess and Anna Popovich and they had 17 children. They came from Austria/Hungary which is now Slovika and the town they came from does not exist anymore but I found some 1910 maps of that area and found the town. The Declaration of Intention and Petition For Naturalization papers gave alot of information.
Good luck.
