William Poplin m. Patience Lee in NC

William Poplin married Patience Lee in Anson County, NC in 1814, their first son Green Lee Poplin is my ggggrandfather. According to my records, Wm's children were:
Green Lee b. 1815
Alfred b. 1819
Hampton b. 1835
Harriet Elvira b. ?
Louisa b. 1820
Nancy b. 1830
Lucinda b. 1834
Matilda b. ?

After the birth of G.L. and before the 1820 census, they moved to Bedford County, TN at Poplin Crossroads, near Unionville. G.L. began his medical practice there and later moved to Butler County, MO where he named the town of Poplar Bluff. I have G.L.s family bible as well as a copy of the newpaper he owned in Poplar Bluff.
We have a cousin in Shelbyville, TN -- Dick Poplin, ggrandson of Alfred Poplin -- who has amassed quite a bit of history on the Poplin family and Bedford County. He has been quite helpful with several folks that have had questions, I urge you to look him up. He probably has information on Virginia C.
