POPLIN FAMILY,
I did not realize that I had not posted an update on Dick.
He passed away on 03 July. At the present my wife(his daughter), her sister and I are going through his possesions and prepairing everything for an estate sale on the date of 28 October. He had many volumes of family research and local history research that he had done over the years. He had ask that none of these papers be destroyed. I have brought a number of boxes home of his papers and I have a lot more to bring. In some of the material that I have located were volumes of a POPLIN FAMILY NEWSLETTER that he put out in the late 1960's, early 1970's. Sometime later this winter or early spring I will try to have these reproduced for any POPLIN Family member that may have an interest. I will have to charge a little fee to take care of the expenses of the endeavor.
