Chris - Here's what I know in brief, a woman named Helen Keenan married my grandfather Knud Borglum in 1944, they had five children and she left him in 1954 for a sailor named Popejoy. Helen was born in 1925 we think (plus or minus a year), her grandmother was from Bermuda and that grandmother's maiden name was De Cambrai. Helen's social security number was 125-16-0934. Even though people can get new social security numbers, that's probably going to be the most telling. So if in fact is is the same Helen your husband has three half-brothers and two-half sisters who were born between 1945 and 1953. My mom doesn't spend much time with the internet, so if you want you can contact her directly. Her cell is 406.544.7720, you can also reach her at 800.525.0169 (business) or 888.793.3896. One of those is a candy store, the other is a jewelry store - both in Montana. You could also e-mail her at rockets_up@yahoo.com, but let me know you sent something as she sometimes goes for a month without checking. Her name is Shirley Beck And by the way, nobody is upset about it or expecting anything out of finding her or her family. They'd just like to meet her if she is still alive and wants to meet them, and would be excited to meet any family she had after she left. Thanks, Jody Notify Administrator about this message?
