Children: James Pope Leonard born Jul. 22, 1899 Santa Cruz, CA, died Sept. 18, 1941 Santa Cruz, CA. He married Hazel Halsted GROVER born May 30, 1896 Santa Cruz, CA, died Dec. 16, 1980 Santa Cruz, CA.
Another child of James and Mildred was Arthur B. Leonard born Nov. 18, 1901 CA, died Nov. 18, 1966, Laguna Beach, Orange, CA. Arthur married Vernis M. WILTRESS b. Aug. 24, 1902 Canada, died Dec. 21, 1996 Anaheim, Orange, CA. Had one known child - Mary Jane born 1926 Los Angeles Co., CA.
