There are a number of Popes' who graduated from West Point. John Pope, in 1842 was a very prominent Union general. Asa (1917), Charles (1973), Curran (1834), Danita (1986), Dannille (2007), Derwin (1963), Donald (1957), Edwin (2008), Francis (1897), Fredrick (1964), James L (2001), James W (1868), John Jr., (1868), Lemuel III (1918), Patrick (1974), Phillip (1933), Robin (1979), Theodis (2000), Tito (1996), and William (1957). My son is directly related back to Thomas and Jenny Pope (and his grandparents are Seth through my wife and Seth's sister through me) who came over in the 1600's and is a graduate of West Point (2008). Are all of these Popes' above related? Thanks.
