Do you have anything on a Alfred Pope born in NC. He is listed on an 1850 census for a John Pope as being 52yrs. I am assuming he is John's father, which would make him born in 1798, and it says he was born in North Carolina. John was born in OH, in 1823 I have no information on who the mother was, only that it says she was also born in North Carolina. Any info would be great.
