I am trying to find any information on Jesse Pope. He was supposedly born in 1807 in South Carolina (unknown where). I have no other information until he setteled in Marion County Alabama (Hamilton), in 1836. He married Karen Helen Armstrong (B. 1815 Tenn).
I am desperately trying to find any information on him prior to 1836.
