Hi Gerri Re: Sampsons Siblings Sampson Pope was my GGGG grandfather and my family reords show him to be the son of Jacob and Mourning Pope of Edgecombe Co NC and he was born there in 1720. He had two older brothers to wit: Elijah and Pilgrim and he had three sisters, to wit; Mourning; Rebecca andMary. He moved from Edgecombe Co to Robeson Co(then a part of Bladen) abt. 1771 and then to Edgefield Co S.C. abt. 1789 and died 1803 Orangeburg, S.C. where he is buried. Hope this helps you. Bob
