Trying to follow all the Jacob Popes listed in "Who are Sampson Pope's Siblings" postings and make a connection with my 4g grandfather, Jacob Pope born 1765 in NC and married to Rebecca Privett, believed to be his 3rd wife.
First recorded information, I have of him is the 18?? Carter County, KY census indicating his age and place of birth. He had one son with Rebecca, Lewis, born 1807 in TN during their move to KY.
Do you have a connection to my Jacob Pope? I have been attempting to find his parents for several months.
