Richard Pope b. 1761-1748 died Chatham Co. NC married #1 Ruth Webster and had 7 children- John b. 1795, Grace 1798, Mary 1804, Richard 1810, Catherine 1811, Ransome 1815 and Ruth 1819. Ruth died probably from complications of childbirth. Richard remarried to Elizabeth Murey from Chatham Co. Where did marriage take place. Sometime after 1819.`
What I want to know is the children by Elizabeth. I have Allegood bor 1824 Chatham Co. Surely there are others. My grandaughters are descendants of Allegood. I would appreciate any help. Possibly there is a George W. and maybe others. Contact me at nancyachristian@juno.com Thanks a bunch
