William, or Billy Burman, is the son pf Peter, and brother of henry. Glann states that the will(i have a copy ) is filed in lancaster County archives, gives us close approximation of his death. namely shortly prior to 10-25-1811, the date the will was proven. Laking the birth and bapt. record, one may alternately surface a birth datewith the discovery of the discovery of a cemetery record that fits this death time frame. From the tentative listing of the children of father, peter, it is speculated that william was most likely born around 1750, plus or minus maybe 2 years. The will written almost 8 yrs, before his death, places him clearly as a resident of Mt. Joy twp. This is clearly the center of the area in which William, his parents, + brothers have been positivelyidentified. As of the date of the writing of the will, William had a wife liiving, but since no final disposition of his estate has been located, it is not certain that she was still livingwhen he died.Further, it might be concluded that william as of 12-1803 had no surviving children, as there is no reference made to any in his will. Likewise, as of the same date, William's mother, supposedly, Mary Catherine was still living. There is 11 years after the death of Father ,Peter, in Aug. 1792. William also had brothers and sisters. of which one is named specifically, I.E., HENRY. The others still living as of his death presumably are named in the settlement record of William's estate, but to date (Glenn wrote this in 1985) this accounting has not been located. Billy's will is dated 12-14-1803 proven 10-25-1811 Lancaster co. records, will bk L , Vol. 1, page 57
