Hi Tanya,

Please forgive me for not getting back sooner. this is the information that I have and I hope we can figure it all out...

I have a Catherine Poorman ,b. Sept.3 1780 in Lancaster Pa.
d. Oct.1,1871 in Lancaster,Pa.

Cathrine Poorman married Christopher (Stoffel) Shank. I have concluded that my Catherine Poorman Shank was the sister of Henry Poorman, who died in 1844 in Lancaster,Pa.
In reading the will of Henry Buhrman (Poorman) who died in 1844 in Lancaster he leaves all of his assets to his niece Veronica Shenck Miller. He stated that he raised Veronica Shenck from infancy and that she was the daughter of his brother-in-law Christopher Shenck of Mt. Joy PA.

All the above information on The Christopher Shank/Shenck/Shanck and Catherine Poorman family I have documented. The will of Henry Poorman/Buhrman proves that he and Catherine were Siblings.
Now i need to find who their parents where and other siblings. It appeared that Henry Poorman was married but had no children so they raise their niece Veronica (Fanny) from birth.
Tanya I so hope we can make a connection here.....been researching the Shank line for eight years now and so want to find my Catherine Poorman Shank's family as well.

Can't wait to hear from you,
