See photo of property document of 1776 on

Edward POOLEY the younger of Cratfield, Suffolk. Farmer.
Henry NEGUS the younger of Bungay, Suffolk. Gentleman.
Edward POOLEY the elder of Brampton, Suffolk. Farmer.

It says that in 1774 the two Edward Pooleys mortgaged property in Cratfield, Suffolk, to Henry Negus for 100. This mortgage was not repaid, and a total of 166 is now owing to Henry Negus. This document formalises the state of affairs in a new mortgage; on this occasion it involves only Edward Pooley the younger.

The property consists of a messuage and farm in Cratfield.
