Jemima was probably the dau. of Penuel Pooler who was of S. Hadley in the census of 1790 & 1800. Penuel Pooler was bpt. 7Jul1751 at Trinity Congr. Church in Brooklyn, CT, son of John & Sarah (Allyn) Pooler. He d. 1816 at Woodstock, CT.
John Pooler was b. 7Aug1710 at Groton, CT s/o John & Eleanor (Dore). He d. 1792 at Willington, CT but lived most of his life in Killingly, CT. He marr. c.1737 Sarah Allyn, b. 24Sep1717 Killingly, CT only child of Matthew & Sarah. There is a Mayflower back to John & Elizabeth (Tilley) Howland thru Matthew Allyn's mother Mary.
