Hello,
Joseph Pooler was Joseph Poulin, son of Jean Poulin and Helene Gagne. He was born April 23, 1805, Beauce, Quebec. He married Brigitte Roy, daughter of Thomas Roy and Marie Anne Bisson on Oct 5, 1824. Joseph Pooler died in Bangor, Maine, on May 21, 1879. Brigitte Roy was born in St. Francois Beauce, Quebec, on Aug 5, 1806, and died in Bangor, Maine, on July 11, 1887.

Joseph & Brigitte had the following children:
Julie, Esther, Hilaire, Elizabeth, Adele, Vilade, Addie, Joseph Jr., Ursula, and Brigitte.

The Charles Pooler listed in the 1860 census is actually Ursula's husband, Charles Poulin. He and Ursula were second cousins who married Apr 26, 1859.

Kind regards,
Brenda.
