As an addendum to item 1a listed in the previous message, note that a transcribed will is available in a repository in Macon, Georgia. This will is for William POOL, senior of Grayson County, Virginia.

At the delightful library, which stamped my papers, "Genealogical & Historical Room, Washington Memorial Library", Macon, Georgia, a copy exists (Book Number 102) of author, William Lee POOLE's 1983 book. The transcribed will is on pgs. 4-5, of the book entitled "Early North Carolina POOL Clan of Bladen, Anson, Rowan & Davidson Counties."

Who out there can clarify this lineage? I have tried phoning author, Wm Lee POOLE of Sardis Church Road, Macon, Georgia, but so far have not reached anyone...Perhaps he has moved?

If several men claiming Edward of NJ (c1720/c1795) do the DNA testing, the pattern for this line could become solidly defined...Thanks for any help!

Dee in Cincy
