This is a very nice color portrait, and thank you Bill for scanning it and making it available to us. I was hoping that this James Pool matched one in my line, however the dates don't match up, and Philadelphia was a good trip from Virginia and the Carolinas.

Can any of the other Pettipool/Pool researchers identify this James Pool (1774-1861)?
